At the Chalmette Skatepark in Louisiana, I roll in knowing one thing: the battle isn’t with anyone else—it’s with myself.
Every push of my wheels, every fall, every scar reminds me that I’m still here, still moving forward. The skatepark is more than concrete and ramps; it’s a place where limits get tested, where resilience is built, and where I prove to myself that today isn’t about giving up.
Today isn’t my day to quit. Today is my day to ride, to challenge myself, and to rise above the voice that says “you can’t.”
Adaptive sports, whether it’s WCMX, adaptive skateboarding, or just rolling into new challenges, are never just about tricks or medals—they’re about growth. For me, it’s always me vs me. And every time I choose to get back up, I get stronger.
That’s what Unified Motion is all about: showing the world that strength doesn’t come from avoiding the fight—it comes from facing it, one roll at a time.
